Back to School!

So back to school time is bitter sweet. Already mourning lazy mornings and late breakfasts, days beside the pool and spontaneous get-aways. I love the heat, easy sundresses and flip flops, pic-nics in the park and and grilling late in the evening. On the other hand there is just something about a brand new box of crayons, new notebooks, that brand new pair of jeans and pair of shoes you are just dying to get on your feet. Not to mention all the new and exciting possibilities that lie ahead, new teachers, new friends and seeing old friends that have been away all summer. Yes, I do believe I am ready!

I love these old athletic lockers to put the kids backpacks and sports gear in!

So this is not a great photo but a great idea! Every year I post the kid's school portrait (good or bad) down this long boring hallway. So much fun and makes me smile every time I walk in from the garage. Honestly, one of my favorite things ever!
